Commission for DarthLawyer ( [link] ). This is what I have been working on the past few days. I am super proud of this. It gave me a chance to put all the composition and lighting skills I have been learning as well as my anatomy practice into one piece.

Palpatine has a sense of entitlement the size of a galaxy, literally. Would he choose a woman who isn't one of if not the most beautiful? And compared to manipulating and "seducing" the whole galaxy into giving him absolute power over it, it shouldn't be difficult to make a woman love him, especially when he can read her mind and has known her almost her entire life. That's my reasoning.

DarthLawyer would be the one to answer that best as it's their fan fic... but from what I understand he's using some force mind control on her so she isn't entirely aware of what she is doing. Note his Sith eyes ;)

Not in that fic, actually, or in most of my others. You'll see - it makes a surprising amount of sense for her character. And from his side, seduction - making her want it - would be a greater victory than using force or mind control.

She doesn't really know what she is doing only in the sense that he is not the person she believes he is. She is consenting, but in lawyer-speak, her consent is not valid because of fraud by deceit. ;)
